What should I expect?

Whether you’ve gone to church your whole life, just occasionally, or it’s your first time, welcome to Trinity Presbyterian Church!

Time

Our service begins at 10 AM and is a little over an hour long. Please stick around for donuts and coffee afterward; we would love to meet you!

We have Sunday School every 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month with classes for all age groups. Currently the adults are studying the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Place

We meet on the 2nd floor of CSPS Hall in Newbo (1103 3rd St SE). There are 2 parking lots behind the building and plenty of street parking, as well. Please use the side entrance behind the fire station (look for our sign).

Order of Worship

Sunday mornings are a conversation with God. He instructs us through word (preaching) and sacrament (communion and baptism). We respond through song and prayer.

Music

We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, old and new, some expressing joy and faith, others doubt and sorrow. We aim to keep our praise humble, scriptural, and honest.

Children

Children are welcome to remain for the whole worship service. There is also a nursery upstairs available for kids 4 and under. Additionally, there is a kitchenette behind the auditorium which streams the service audio, for parents who prefer to accompany their infants or toddlers in a room where they can move about more freely. Finally, there is a private nursing/cry room.

Attire

We take our worship seriously but not ourselves, so come as you are!
